Hoos - Hokies ...for the Coastal

Bronco is a good coach. I liked his response when asked about the 15 year losing streak...

Reporter: "I know a lot of it happened before you were here, but how much does it mean to this program to beat VT after losing this rivalry game for 15 years in a row?"

Bronco: "Yeah, that's over."

How anyone could pull for either of those two is beyond me. Back to the cellar next year UVA

Don’t think anyone is loving either.

But history shows when 2 teams p,ay - one will win. Usually.

Hope Clemson beats them by 60.

Just saw a tweet that said in the last over the past 7 years, every team in the Coastal has won the division.

Mark Bradley should write another “it’z not a rivalries anymore” article about UVA/VT.

Or “17 Year Cuckoldery Drought Over”

had to watch my brother try to hype up the room yesterday with “streak is on the line,” “winner to ACCCG,” and “we really hate uva.” Didn’t have the heart to point out that they had to move the game to the Friday after thanksgiving because nobody outside of the DC burbs gives two öööös about two VA schools trying to hump each other.

Let this sink in: Despite losing 15 in a row (and 19 out of 20), UVa has actually beaten VPI at home more recently than we have beaten UGa at Grant Field. In 2003 the Cavs won their rivalry game in Charlottesville. We last defeated UGa in Atlanta in 1999. I was there for that one but have little to no hope of seeing it happen today.

Though we’ve beaten them 4 times since then, that is sad. Clinton was President the last time it happened.
