2020 Recruiting

sounds like we have offered another OL, Mt Zion (Jonesboro) Phillip Wilder. He has come on this year and has some nice offers (Maryland, Texas, USF, UConn, GT). He will sign in February.

Most likely, we are recruiting over some guys we already have committed. :scared:

The truth is that we need all the OL we can get.
There were zero OL in the 2019 class and what we have is undersized.

I'll happily take 7 OL this year.

I know rb isn't really a position of need, but holding on to this kid with all the hype he's getting from the factories would be a huge win for the staff

It's always a position of need unless you already have a 4*+ in the current class. Especially with all the 2-back sets we seem intent on running. Jahmyr could play the opening snap in 2020.

No bees and no "official" commitment graphic but rather a hastily put together one. I would think pwo but he's a high 3 star with a lot of offers.

Suddes re-tweeted, so I'd say it's legit. Odd for him to not be in front of it with a bee tweet.

Very strange for no "bees" post from Patrick Suddes, and this seems to be very surprising across the board. Very quiet and no reports out yet anywhere that I see. Not sure what's up with this one. The kid has had 3 ACL tears also.
What is his current status with the ACL injuries. Could he rehab for 2020 and enroll in January 2021?

maybe he hasn’t updated his iPhone lately and is running a pre-bee iOS - like 3.1 or Maryland or Wake Forest or somebody.

I've heard almost nothing on this kid before now, which makes sense with him being hurt and missing his entire Senior season. It sounds like he visited during the Virginia Tech game. From what I gather he's an exceptional athlete and really flashed at some camps as a Junior against other top prospects. So there's quite a bit of upside with him, but also clearly a considerable amount of risk with his history of knee injuries.

We need to leverage our bio-engineering expertise to minimize injury risk and to maximize injury recovery. This should be a win-win for academics and athletics.

We need DEs more than DBs so its been a good trade this week.

Hope this doesnt foretell bad news wrt DTs. Might.
