Look for the dwags to try to take out Burrows with a cheap shot. If they do they win.
I do not agree with your prediction of this game nor the playoffs, but thank you for playing the contrarian to a thinly veiled circlejerk thread. And that pain is for Tech fans. The planets are aligning for the mutts. Georgia wins a tight game, SEC gets two teams in the CFP, and Georgia wins out for the trophy.
Hey, I've seen a pretty bad Georgia Tech team get tied 3-3 by then #1 Notre Dame to hand the mutts the championship in 1980. It takes a certain degree of masochism to be a Yellow Jacket fan. Maybe Swift being dinged and Pickens sitting will be the football gods way of repayment. I just remember playing super against the Irish, and then the run-Lindsey-run miracle the same afternoon.I do not agree with your prediction of this game nor the playoffs, but thank you for playing the contrarian to a thinly veiled circlejerk thread.
That being said, if you aren't trolling then you've definitely outed yourself somewhere along the spectrum of a sadomasochist.
Why are you so sad?And that pain is for Tech fans. The planets are aligning for the mutts. Georgia wins a tight game, SEC gets two teams in the CFP, and Georgia wins out for the trophy.
He got drunk and fell off his lawnmower. Why are you so sad?
The ghost of George Jones. He got drunk and fell off his lawnmower.
This is a very real possibility. However, I believe the LSU game hinges on how much heat UGA can bring to stop Burrows. LSU has, by far, the best quarterback and the best receivers UGA will have faced this year. Their best chance is to get heat on Burrows and control the game by running the ball. They can do it but let me tell you the Bayou Bengals can score faster than I can eat a Louisiana gumbo and that's pretty fast. Even if your nightmare scenario were to occur with two SEC teams in the playoffs, the most impressive team I have seen this year has been Ohio State. It pains me to say this but I think Ohio State can beat either one of them like a drum especially UGA.LSU has given up 28 points or more five times this year.
I thought that UGA could win this game by slowing the game down, controlling the clock by running and getting pressure on Burrows. You have suggested an equally valid alternative. If Burrows comes out hot and the tigers get up by two or more scores early it will be lights out. I just do not know from the times I have seen LSU if they can stop UGA's running game. If forced to predict, I would go with LSU by a touchdown as they are an 8 point pick but I am looking forward t o it because of the differing styles. It should be a pretty good game unless LSU breaks it open early.LSU - 42
Dwags - 17
UGA hasn’t seen an offense on the same planet as LSU. This is going to get away from them quickly and Fromm will have no answers.
Your dwag is showing. And that pain is for Tech fans. The planets are aligning for the mutts. Georgia wins a tight game, SEC gets two teams in the CFP, and Georgia wins out for the trophy.
Just want to say you are way too sane for these boards...a consistent voice of reason.I think it'll be a lower scoring game than expected. UGA is able to keep LSU's offense in check better than most, but the UGA offense won't be able to rely solely on a physical/talent disparity this week.
31-16 Tigers
Not just Pickens. Lawrence Cager was their top receiver and was injured versus Auburn and then reinjured in practice prior to the Tech game. He just announced that he's out for the season with his injury. So the Dwags will be without their top 2 receivers for the first half. Hopefully, by the time Pickens is eligible in the second half, LSU will already be up by 7 touchdowns anyway.Hey, I've seen a pretty bad Georgia Tech team get tied 3-3 by then #1 Notre Dame to hand the mutts the championship in 1980. Full disclosure: a 7 touchdown lead would in no way be enough for me to advocating that LSU stop scoring. In fact, until they hit a triple digit lead, I wouldn't sit the starters if I were the head coach.
I could care less why they run the score up...just that they do run the score up! :PI'm not really sure LSU has any reason to run up the score...do they benefit from the number 1 seed vs 2? Zona or ATL is a wash as location goes.
I guess Okie or Utah is a better match-up...but no guarantee of either. I don't really think LSU cares. They haven't b****** once about being number 2 despite a much better resume than Ohio State. Dabo is making the whole conference look like p****** with his complaining. Just STFU and win the games. Clemson can play with anyone so not sure why he keeps complaining.
Sorry, tangential diatribe on Dabo. Irritates me.
Whichever of lsu or Ohio state gets the 1 seed will have a huge advantage imo. The 2 will have to go thru clemsonI'm not really sure LSU has any reason to run up the score...do they benefit from the number 1 seed vs 2? Zona or ATL is a wash as location goes.
