Exactly this. Dallas is probably the worst head coaching job in the entire country in any sport.
You’re just a puppet whose job is to follow orders, and even worse, everyone knows it. But you will still end up taking the lions share of the blame.
There’s a reason Jason Garrett has stuck around so long despite showing no ability to win. It’s because he has done his real job well, which is follow orders from Jones.
