That looks a lot like Hilary Swank.

For those of us who don’t following recruiting that closely:
  • Any positive surprises?

  • Who is still unsigned?

Positive - Sims decided on GT

Negative - null

Still Unsigned - Gibbs, Kootsouradis, Casey

* Jeff Sims - 4 star QB was the positive surprise
* No negative surprises
* Gibbs is the great player than hasn't signed; still planned for Feb. GT is the favorite but it will be a battle until the end
* Morton is another highly rated player that isn't committed but GT is the favorite

Quick Summary:
* Total rebuild of the OL and D-Front (DL plus LBs). Bunch of players with length and size. Body types that fit our schemes and are more comparable to most top 25 programs. Not sure there is immediate help but a few of them will contribute in 2020.

* 2 QBs: added talent and depth to the position. The practice and level of play out of this group should do nothing but help the entire offense get better, even if they don't play a snap next year but both will fight to be ATL I'm sure.

* Enhanced the WR and DB corps: these should be positions of strength next season.

* Signed one TE; could have added more here but might go the transfer route

* Didn't sign any true, big DT. We targeted some highly rated players that went elsewhere but a few of our DEs can play DT.

Sims release is pretty impressive.

Coach Kerry Dixon has got to be the happiest coach in America. He is getting more speed, size, talent, quantity than any group it seems.

An elite running back has GOT to see that having this kind of W/R presence is only going to open up HUGE opportunities for an awesome running game.

No big surprises because this coaching staff managed the class from start to finish

Yeah, it really is impressive the job they have done from day one. You want it to be true (because of his history and reputation) but until it actually happens, you have doubts.

Some little things:

* They not only are signing or offering very good players, they seem to be good evaluaters. Brown from last year's class was under-rated. McCollum, Ivey and Gibbs all had big jumps in the rankings after we targeted and offered them.

* Closing on Sims once the door was cracked. Really impressive

* I was worried the bad season was doing to impact this class but they closed very strong and were able to get the message right to keep the recruits on board.

OLine avg size:
2019 - 6'1", 267
2020 class- 6'5" 297

DLine avg size (no lbs given)
2019 - 6' 1 1/2"
2020 class - 6' 4 1/2"

Stated that with two DL recruits we gained 13 feet on the DLine

I heard that, too. The OL heights and weights must have been their "real" ones cause that's not close to the roster sizes. Plus, he emphasized average when he said it. So, we were either really cookie cutter in real terms of size for that group or some were under 6 feet which cannot be legit. I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around that stat.
