Enjoying Clempson getting pummeled by OSU

Okay, I can’t really all those big words Jacket and Crew wrote out on my last remaining lung. Who won the fight and who am I rooting for next week?

If having a discussion about a game is "really caring a lot" then yeah, it's the single most important thing in my life. All I'm asking is why people are being so dismissive of an LSU team that looked to me like it can steamroll any team they line up against. Some of the answers don't make sense me, so I'm asking for better answers and expressing my surprise.

I am pretty sure this is how conversations work, but since StingTalk has accounted for 99% of my social interactions in the last five years, I guess I don't know for a certainty.

If you like, I can just go back to telling everyone to kill themselves. I'm happy to do it, but first I'd like to finish this discussion and if I'm being honest, that's not going to be possible while I'm distracted like this, so if you could do me a favor, stop responding and end your own life immediately. I'd owe you one.

If ST is ever a high percentage of your social life you need to get help! Join a church, volunteer with adult literacy programs, give blood to the Red Cross, but do something!

WTF is wrong with you TheJackass? You wrote THIS:

Honestly you sound like Clemson fans in denial of the monster you have to defend your title against, and I just don't understand why. I want Clemson to win too, but not so badly that I'm going to delude myself with obviously faulty logic.

You are fairly literally saying anyone who thinks Clemson might win against "the monster" is delusional.

That is as close to saying LSU is unbeatable as could be written.

Then you keep wishing me dead because I disagree with your opinion yet you accuse me of having a mental illness? Thats called projection.

It has been like this for 17 years. I am content with whatever damage it has done.

What I literally-literally said was:
I don't think any of you guys are looking at the matchup the same way I am, which is fine of course and if I had to actually bet on it, I'll probably end up being wrong here.
Somewhere in all of this, you got a severely wrong impression of my original and only real point, so I will clear that up: I was very surprised by and impressed with LSU's dominant performance in the Peach Bowl. They impressed me more than any of the other teams in the CFP. I believe that if both LSU and Clemson perform along the same lines as in their semi-final games, LSU will have a good chance to go up early as they did against Oklahoma and as Ohio State did against Clemson. If that happens, I think LSU may run away with it early. I hope that does not happen, and Clemson absolutely has the ability to make it a good game and win it. It struck me that other people on this board seemed less impressed by LSU's performance than I am. I was more stricken by the fact that several people believe Clemson will dominate LSU, which I do not think is in the cards, however hilarious it would be. I disagree with the route some of these people took to reach those conclusions, as I put more value on the recent performances and I think season totals are a poor way to prognosticate performance in the FBS postseason.

My prediction is that LSU is going to jump on Clemson early and that it will not be as good a game as we got between Clemson and Ohio State. But I also know Clemson is a truly great team and I could easily be wrong. The only thing I have said which might imply LSU is "unbeatable" is that I think they would have dominated anyone you put against them with the performance they had in the Peach Bowl.

I have my own mental and psychological problems, if that isn't clear then someone isn't paying attention. But I keep wishing you dead because I think you're a ööööty human being and nothing I wish for has ever mattered. By default, I do not care about you in any remote sense. But for a couple of moments surrounding when I read many of your posts, I hope that something terrible happens to you. I don't care how terrible or stupid you think that is.

You need help.

You need help.
And I would say you need it far more than me. But that means nothing to you, because I don't know you, correct? You don't know me either. That's me, accepting what I do know and what I don't know and what is a matter of my own opinion. Decency might be too much to ask, but some self-awareness might suit you.

This thread has gotten way to weird and uncomfortable. I suppose one could say it hasn’t aged very well.

I know you are the kind of person who wishes an anonymous individual harm and death. That is the mind of a sick individual. It is what it is.

Sick.

This öööö has got to stop. Post after post after post, the same ööööing joke, the same punchline until you've seen it so many times you want to vomit. Didn't this ööööing meme stop being funny five pages ago? Age jokes on every single page, nine or ten times, and everyone seems to think it's hilarious. Well it isn't, and you're all a bunch of unoriginal tools.

Now go back and read the first word of every sentence.

Bruh this board is bad enough without copypasta

I think you're a waste of life and I wish you were dead.
Kinda undercuts your sensitive and caring posts about the tragedy of suicide in one thread when your go-to schtick in other threads is wishing people were dead and telling them to kill themselves. Maybe the way we talk about it affects peoples' attitudes?

Then again, my irony detector has been stuck at 11 for years now. So maybe I should just go kill myself. (haha? not sure)

I'm not. I've been to many games in death valley. I do expect the tickets will be expensive and with Clemson having two recent championships the crowd will be slightly more yellow than purple.

All I see is an idiot screaming about LSU being unbeatable because they beat a very, very overrated UGA team and then routed a team that had a great season but isnt in the same discussion as the top 3 teams.

Vegas has it as +5.5 iirc, which is a very competitive number, and similar to the number from last year. I think Clemson will actually win, just like last year, because I believe they are a more complete team than LSU. They have no weakness to exploit.

I think having been there is the big advantage people are missing wrt Clemson.

I would predict a great contest, similar to the LSU Alabama game from this year. I could see LSU pulling it out. They seem like a team of destiny. But acting like Clemson has no chance is ööööing ignorant. They've won 30 something straight and have a top 3 offense and top 3 defense. They ain't Cumberland.

Clemson being there before is a bigger factor than people are making. Coaches and players know and have a predictable schedule and understanding of the magnitude of the game.

I'm hoping so. I'm currently leading a college bowl pool but it's coming down to the last few days with a few guys neck & neck with me. I'm the only one who picked Clemson to beat LSU out of all the people who still have a shot at winning...so I need them to pick me up those 9 confidence points I put on them...and the $1650 that accompanies a win. :)

Dabo has invoked the Power of God and is prophecying interceptions. This game has major theological implications.
