He is going to the Dolphins. That team is in the middle of a massive rebuild. This doesn't seem like a bad move to warm the seat for a year or two. I can't imagine the hottest young coaches are lining up to lead that collection of offensive players. Now, two years from now when they have their young QB and some other pieces the story will be different.

Chan has been a great OC in the past. He did a lot of good stuff with Kordell Stewart with the Steelers. If he was hired as the head coach and he was bringing Patrick Nix as the OC, then I would be worried for them.
