It's inbound regardless. The media likes CGC so far, and Gibbs is blowing past top-rated linebackers at the event. His speed is getting a lot of buzz.
Here's hoping he makes a 40-year education decision and stays near family and Coach Choice.

Seems like Morton has been a GT silent for a long time. They may have been working on academics or something, or maybe he just wants to splash on signing day.

He’s gone from a 5.7 to a 5.9 since committing and theres chatter about him potentially climbing again after his camp performance. He’s not a 5* because his junior film wasn’t as good as his (absurd) senior film and it’s tough to rise that high that fast.
But yeah, his senior film is comparable with the other top ranked RBs in the country. And not only that, he’s tailor-made for a spread offense and is almost a prototype for the kind of back we need right now (elusive enough to disguise a rebuilding OL).

I only see Gibbs has OV scheduled with LSU and OSU besides us (247). Any word if he is also visiting FSU?
Rumors are that Evans (top RB in nation) has already signed with UGA but has kept it quiet. Evans did some stupid stuff so UGA might be having 2nd thoughts or just told him he couldn't tell until Feb.
Short point: if so, then it really seems like Ohio State and GT might be the only players left.
OSU has 2 Soph 4 star RB, 2 Fresh and 1 Recruit.
LSU has 3 really good Fresh RB but that might be it so they don't seem to have a lot of RB depth (I'm assuming their stud goes pro)

Others filling up spots is certainly good for us. I’m sure the allure of playing for perennial Top 10 programs is strong...but we’ve had his commitment for months, loved him before he blew up and are right in his back yard. Plus, he is our #1 priority at this point...where I’m sure these other programs are balancing several guys. Let’s close the deal!!

But that perspective is not high on a stud recruits list.
We have got to flip the script.
Rumor is between 4-6. I'm sure we aren't positive about who will come and then have to make sure that enough leave to make room.
BTW, I assume that means HS Seniors and any college transfers.
