PFF ranks FBS OLs

It is as if you guys can't even look up simple stuff (or think no one else will). CPJ signed 6 OL his last 2 years here.
2018:
Mike Maye 6'3"
Harrison Jump 6'5"

2017:
Mike Minnihan 6'2"
Zach Quinney 6'5"
Connor Hansen 6'2"
Charlie Clark 6'4"

2018 was his last season, which means 2019 was his last recruiting class. CGC had about a month to finish it with no staff. Zero OL were committed when CGC arrived and zero signed.

2 + 0 = 2

Thanks for playing.

False, two ol were committed when cgc came on board, but both parted ways after early signing day.

CGC had a month to finish it BECAUSE CPJ WASN"T OUR COACH ON SIGNING DAY.

Thanks for playing.

For bonus points guess how many OL Clemson signed in 2018.

I have it on good authority they are all actually 6’1

Yeah when Collins said that I about fell off my chair. Someone’s doing bad math there. He said averaging 6’1”. Not unless he has a dozen 5’9” walk one he is factoring into that. All of our scholarship OL on RamblingWreck.com are all 6’2-6’5”.

And we’re trying to take Vandy’s best OL player

So What? You realize there's 5 people on the line, right? You can have a personally awesome season/s and the rest of the line still suck. Sometimes other people öööö the bed and there's nothing you can do except keep on trucking what's in front of you.

Inflated heights. You'll cry foul, 'tis true.

Maybe he got them mixed up with the orange cones

I am telling you that heights of our OL were exaggerated during the past regime. I am 6’2” and my brother and son 6’3”. We stood off the curve for the Yellow Jacket Alley walk through and all agreed - maybe one lineman was taller than us. Several listed 6’3” or 6’4” were clearly shorter. We joked that they were measured for the program in cleats and helmets. I believe Coach Collins.

Just so you clowns know, I did not pull the player heights from ramblinwreck, they came from the recruiting site. Now if you are arguing that only the GT recruits lie about how tall they are.... :eekfacepalm:

I know recruits sometimes lose stars when they flip to GT; but I'm not aware of them getting taller when they flip to GT. :ugh:

Finally, those recruits average just a little over 6'3"; which is probably shorter than average; but let's not pretend we got a bunch of OL who are under 6 foot tall.

It makes no difference. Debating whether the listed heights are real or off a few inches is pointless. They are definitely shorter than most of the DL they line up against. The lineman Key and Collins being in will definitely be taller than what we have now.

I've seen most of our starting offensive line in person. Only 1 seemed taller than me and I'm 6'2" so you do the math.
Recruiting sites use the heights/weights that the player tells them and no player is going to make himself seem short if it might cost him a scholarship offer.

Some were, some weren't. But I know for a fact they were in 2019

You think the recruiting sites are out there measuring recruits? Lmao...

Newsflash...recruits lie about size!
