Bama Home & Home Added

The hell is the difference between @ Ga State and insert (Temple/USF/UCF/UAB etcc.....) We don't have to pay to travel and their stadium will be 80% tech fans for the game? Tickets will probably cheaper too.

Where is this 80% coming from? Ticket allocation in contract? Wet dreams?

TStan is as often as not a mush mouth Canuck dummy.

too lazy to look at years, but is that still in the MBS deal years? meaning, 6 home games at BDS, 1 game at State, and 1 game at MBS. that's 8 games in ATL.

edit: 7 games b/c MBS game would count as a home game. but still, that's a lot of ATL 404 the culture

We would gain more by adding another H/A with a top half tier pac 12, big 10, big 12 school, or sec school.

Because only about 5K (and that is being generous) fans show up there for games? Someone has to fill the rest of the stadium....

10 years down the road! A little difficult to get excited right now. Who knows what’ll happen between now and then.

Remember when we played at UConn's old stadium? It was like playing at a old HS stadium. Good times.

I will be 64 in 2030.

Because once next season begins, Citadel won't be hanging on to the GT win and trying to throw it in our face, and probably won't really think much about it other than remembering it as a big milestone in their football program's history. If we were to somehow F up and lose to Ga State, in our own city, we would never hear the end of it until we were able to schedule them again (if they ever would), and could you imagine the impact it would have on inner city recruiting?

My dad will be 88. I am really sad now. No joke. This makes me sad.

Could you imagine? No, I wont do that to myself. Why chose to think like that? You think CGC is over there twiddling his thumbs about it?

No, and I don't want to think about it either but it's a potential outcome so it's ludicrous to not think of potential outcomes of these things. I can't think of any other team that losing to would be worse than Ga State, so why even take the chance?

I prefer to think of it as an AWAY game with almost ZERO cost to the GTAA, no excuses for our fanbase that "doesn't travel well." IOW better than going to Duke or USCeast. And we don't have to pay Directional U to come in to BDS@HGF. But I get your point.

As for the Bammers, that's quite a ways out - Satan will be long dead & gone by 2030. Think of it as a placeholder on a future schedule. We've certainly seen a bunch of these get re-scheduled, modified, and outright CANX'd for a wide variety of reasons. If five or even eight years from now this is still lined up, worry about it then.
