Schedule Coming Out Wednesday Morning

Week Zero is horrible and no bye week is even worse. Expect Little Girl to try to mess with us.
Why don't you like week 0? If we take a bye in week 1 I'm all for a game in week 0 because we'll still have another bye.

The most recent news I can find about the Syracuse dome said that the replacement roof would be completed by the start of the 2020 football season. They may be avoiding putting an opener on the season schedule there as a precaution. If they have a suitable backup plan, maybe they could schedule our game for that week. The Clemson game at BDS seems more likely, everything considered.

I hated the monthly (im)balance of our schedule last season -one October home game and four November home games, with two of those five days apart, sucked.

I have a wedding to go to on September 5th, and I have been looking forward to making the trip to Syracuse since it was announced a decade ago. Therefore, I'm selfishly really hoping we play anyone but Syracuse on opening weekend.

The Syracuse fans I know said the Carrier Dome isn't available early. To copypasta:

Y'all can rule out any scenario of Syracuse hosting in Week 0, 1, or 2. The Dome is closed for renovations.
