LinkedIn says he has a degree in Economics, which at uGA mean that he read the rule book to Monopoly (or, in Malcolm Mitchell’s case, someone read it to him).
Did he forget to include the full title Home Economics?

So bad I don't even know where to start. Saw the spin move on the defensive player's transition 2nd to 3rd step.

Over sets, turns feet, no punch, wide hands, weight on the wrong part of the feet, wide knees...probably has an incompetent coach. Ideally you want to keep your shoulder pads parallel to the LOS as long as possible to prevent giving the defender a "two-way go".

So off balanced that a bad spin move that barely hits him and he goes flying.

He's got a ways.

Nah, man. He's a 4-star recruit...he's polished, don't you know? :)

I was wondering where UGAg was getting all the cash they've been dropping the last couple years to recruits. It's obvious now, they're printing their own.
Maybe some truth to that. One of their alums passing bad money? You may be on to something. The reason they can’t say much.

Everybody has a bad play? I remember this time Bay Bay dropped a ball thrown *right to him.*
I agree with your statement. But the knock on this kid is that he's been playing against single A competition and then he went to one "elite" camp and had a great camp and his ratings skyrocketed. But it turns out there were very few highly rated pass rushers in that camp. So when he's gone to other camps, like the Under Armour All American scene you see there, he's been getting his butt handed to him and not even by just the 4-star kids.

As @JacketForLife says, I think this kid is a long-term project at best. But he most definitely doesn't appear to be a top 15 player in the nation.

I am late catching up on this thread but I'm glad I did. StinGTalk has good members.

Way worse than a bad play. He has zero technique. Dude, I was never ragdolled like that and I was only a 3*.
He's awful, but the physical traits are there and I would not look to Darlington to produce pro ready players. What I mainly see on other videos is a bully that puts away kids slower than he is and half his size. None of that helps development.

He could be starter grade for a couple of seasons if his mind gets right.
