BTL guys after the spring will be the guys on their way out.

That’s especially impressive considering the talent around him would be less than most of the others on that list.

So our OL goes from ending the season with these starters...

LT: Defoor 6'5" 305, RS-JR (All-ACC mention)
LG: Minihan 6'3" 297, RS-SO
C: William Lay III, 6'2" 305 RS-SO (walkon)
RG: Southers 6'5" 310, GR-TR
RT: Quinney 6'6" 295, RS-SO

to these...

LT: Cochran 6'7" 318, GR-TR (likely draftee)
LG: Johnson 6'6" 310, GR-TR
C: Cooper 6'3" 317, RS-SR
RG: Quinney 6'6" 295, RS-JR
RT: Defoor 6'5" 305, RS-SR (All-ACC mention)

We have a net gain of 1 player with accolades, 1 year of experience across all positions, an average of 1.2" in length and 7 lbs per linemen. Without needing a start from any of the freshmen. Superb.

If this group comes together as a unit, we could make a big leap forward.

The new red shirt rule will be great for our freshman lineman, we can give them game experience at the same time we bulk them up without burning a year of eligibility. The grad transfers along with Cooper's return removes the pressure to play the freshman every game. I am confident Ceoach Key will have four new OL starters ready for the 2021 season.

It's going to be funny to see the new guys standing next to the height inflated players.

quinney will move to rt and defoor will slide back inside which is better for him or compete for that spot at rg or lg. Also center may not be cooper. Dont be surprised for a few different possibilities
