if key is still like when i knew him, he likes the C to be very experienced. He wants him to make all the calls
 
I would have guessed Ryan Johnson as well.

It would not be wise to pencil in true Freshmen as OL starters. I’m sure some of them will be capable and may beat out existing guys...but it’s just hard to count on that. Better to count on the more seasoned players and allow any FR cracking the rotation to be a pleasant surprise.
 
Johnson is most likely going to be playing Guard, not Center.

The lineman that can best identify defenses and set run/pass protections will be at Center for us. Thats been Key's strategy in years past.

I never found it hard to snap. Might be different for others

Will probably keep Cochran and Johnson at their normal positions

I believe it was the old offensive line under Paul Johnson that average 6 ft 1 in, this newer one is much taller is it not?

Aside from the 3 grad transfers in the past two years it is the same group of guys.

@JacketForLife do you believe Cooper is 6'3" or that the heights are inflated? make up your mind.

Recruiting sites use the heights/weights that the player tells them and no player is going to make himself seem short if it might cost him a scholarship offer.

That's not what he is saying in this thread. In this thread I got a big cry from him for pointing out Cooper ain't 6'3". I want him to be consistent, is Cooper 6'3" or is that inflated?
