Yes but how many recruits have we lost in years when we yelled at them for calling it Georgia Tech University and they realized they didn’t wanna be institutionalized like the rest of us.

They did this last year. Different billboards had different recruits on them.

Of course I would but we all know some people misidentify our school's name. I'd just rather it not be on a national stage if it happens. I'd rather he say it correctly.

BTW, I was trying out some humor. Some of you are much better at it.
 
You don't think a kid never said Alabama University or University of LSU?

We hear GTU when it is said it cuz we are clued int it. I think it is funny, the same way Key and Peele think it is funny when they included it in their parody.

Me? I'd announce "I am going to Tech, and there is only one Tech."

If we did, we would only use Tech in our advertising and put VPISU on the score board when VPI comes to Atlanta. We would use the T logo instead of the interlocking GT

I am in but would also enjoy seeing a gold outline of the state with Tech in the middle. Believe we need to not only be 404, Tech, ATL, etc but also the state.
