I’d actually be in favor of the logo at the 50 being TECH stylized from Tech Tower for a season of rightfully reclaiming Tech as ours.

Didn't GOL have them moved from the 50 after a slip on a QB sneak or something? I'm old, but seem to remember there was a reason we moved it off the 50

I think it was just primarily because that area of the field gets so much action and painting it just makes the grass that much harder to keep intact. Getting the paint almost outside the hashes helps tremendously with that issue.

There's all sorts of innovative and interesting things that could be done with the logo if we wanted to push the design envelope. You could have stuff all over the field. At some point it would be gimmicky rather than innovative but it would garner some free publicity and 'buzz' for a while.

I remember something about it being screen time with the logo. The logos on the 35s were more often on the screen than the one at midfield.
