2020 Recruiting

He had an offer but he played around and lost it. Some of the other offers he said he had, he didn't. Seems he and Wiggles and Morton all had off-the-field issues that the staff chose to steer clear of in the end. Wiggles is at UTC, Morton at JUCO in Kansas, and Wilder hasn't signed yet.

Auburn always kills in the state of Georgia. They must have some serious bagmen especially around the midstate. I've always noticed, if there was a quality prospect out of Macon/WR or points west of there, always a very good bet they would pick Auburn.

We definitely lost several guys to Auburn this year; going head to head with them a lot now.

Georgia is recruiting more nationally now... good for them short term. However, long term that’s going to hurt them in my opinion.

While they’re out recruiting Nevada, teams like Auburn and GT are getting in tight with Georgia HS coaches. There is enough talent in GA and surrounding states to be winning Natties...ask Clemson.

Clemson having the #3 class but losing SC to USC(e) while winning Florida is... coming to behold.

To your point, there is this.

Top 3 states for blue chip recruits

1. Florida (we do well there)
2. Texas (trying like heck to break through)
3. Georgia

How do we "steer clear" of a kid that we have made an offer to? Do we rescind the offer or something?
