Collins is closer to #3 than #13. Nobody could have won more than 3 games at GT last year orlther than PJ and it wouldn’t have been more than 5-6. Collins’ very first signing class is the best ever in the modern era of GT.
Meh. We were horrible last year, so it's hard to argue. I think we'll be able to grade him much better after this season.

Wasn’t the fabled ‘07 class rated higher? Still, the recruiting efforts were fantastic this season. Adding another class of similar caliber will be the first time it’s been done back to back at GT.

I look for the coaching and time management to improve this season. I think the team can make a bowl game.

Can we just pretend like last year never happened? Why rehash it?

I almost forgot about it; thanks for reminding me.

No they are not. Excited about the talent and potential but not sold on the limited sample of coaching results. No reason not to be optimistic about the upcoming season though.
100% yes they are. I've seen enough on the different sites to understand that.

Not sold on time management.
Not sold on game management.
Not sold on Patenaude.
Not sold but also not leaving the store. Patenaude causes a lot more hesitation for me than the other two though.

Our defense played well enough in that opener @Clemson to really open some eyes and make a statement out of the gate (still lose but not skull ööööed). And he looked completely outmatched as a play caller. Sure Clemson’s DL vs our OL
was a giant mismatch, but maybe don’t run short yardage after short yardage from shotgun when they keep blowing it up.

That left a bad first impression and he didn’t do much to turn that around taking half the season to hand the reigns to JG - something everybody could see was the move after 2 games. If he shows improvement then we can chalk it up to personnel and a horrid OL.

patenaud was fine last year. Give it up already. Having four qb’s with minimum experience is going to hurt next year too. Games will get closer but it won’t be patenaud’s fault.
No, he wasn't. Our offense was horrific. He didn't have much to work with, so we definitely can't pass judgement yet, but he certainly didn't make chicken salad out of chicken öööö.

I'm 100% sold on our staff as recruiters and program builders. Xs and Os and game management... the jury is very much still out.

Agreed. And that’s not a negative view to have. It’s realistic.

I’m not sold on Patenaude being fine but I’m willing to wait until he has an oline that isn’t a sieve before I make up my mind.
