Most of StingTalk must get Presidents' Day off. I can't imagine such a saucy exchange just hanging out at the top of the football forum without a reply for 4 hours otherwise.

No one really wants to have it. I defended the current administration. The defenders of the last administration did that as well. We don't need to keep rehashing.

It would have been shorter, but I made the mistake of using the term "re-litigate."

Upon hiring, one of the Fonts Against Geoff predicted we would win 6 games over the first two years. I am taking that as gospel, so anything above 3 wins this upcoming year is exceeding the expectations of the Fonts Against Geoff. So no complaints.

For everyone else, I think we are all in the 5 to 7 expectation range, and would be happy in the 8 to 15 win range.

That means 4 win would leave everyone confused.

You’ve invented some strawman of Tech fans cheering against the team. Regardless of who you want coaching nobody wants CGC to fail. And for some reason you’ve decided to whine about people arguing coaches when you’re the only one in here doing that.

Tech has major positive intangibles on their side this year after having almost absolute negative intangibles last year. We started the year having no clue what the offense would look like. 40% of our team didn’t fit the future at all. We had a totally new coaching staff.
The reality is that we have an awfully tough schedule and still a young team. We probably aren’t going to win many. 6 wins would be huge, maybe too hopeful.
But on paper, our OL gets three senior players to help out plus hitting on one freshman is likely to add another.
We add Two Senior DL and get back a slew of players who got meaningful experience last year.
Kickers are back but we get a lot of new athletes to help on ST’s.
DB’s and RB’s can hold their own.
We get a new talented experienced WR and maybe a Freshman to help.

Our season comes down to QB, TE and LB play. To me the key is for one or two freshman LBers to step up early and often. That’s a lot to ask, but here’s hoping.
I am really looking forward to next year.

Assume he’s talking about guys returning from season ending injuries. So that would be Lee moving to DL for good to join Clayton and Camp at WR to join Ezzard.

He specifically said a new wide receiver, so that can't be Camp, and he said experienced so that can't be Ezzard. We also aren't adding Lee, he's been here and played on the DL some last year before his injury.

I mean if you’re trying to get all technical sure, but from the squad we fielded the 2nd half of the year we’re adding three non-frosh OL, two non-frosh WRs, and two non-frosh DLs. I think that was his point.
