It is a decent ranking. Likely we will play a team ranked ahead of us, so we have a chance to move up some. By definition some others are going to lose.

oh haha i thought it was a 2 instead of three

Win our bowl game and we are in the top 5, unless some bull**** like Penn St getting in a BCS bowl occurs. Assuming Iowa goes, the ten BCS bowl slots will all be filled by a team in the top 10. In that case, 5 of the top 10 will lose.

Loser of BCS game won't fall below us, so #6 is I think the best we can go.

I assume you mean to say loser of the BCS game won't fall below us. In that case, if that team is Texas, that team could get shellacked in Pasadena and would require some politicking to stay ahead of us.

Three teams in the SEC are ranked.

How did UF only fall to 5 after that beat down?

I mean, who have they beaten this year to warrant that ranking?

Like I said on my Arkansas board when somebody asked why we only moved down to 10 after last week, there's 2 sides to the equation. In addition to them moving down, somebody else has to deserve to move up. Since there are hardly any 1 loss teams they could only drop so far because they wouldn't drop below any two-loss teams.
