Pictures from Saturday\'s practice..

The first 5 are from my camera phone. I just got it, so I had to play with it to see what kind of pictures it takes. Wish it had a zoom like my digital one. :(

Pictures are here...

Anyone know who are in these pictures?

Who are the guys in all of these pictures?

Re: Pictures from Saturday\'s practice..

i could be wrong , won't be the first time but...the first pic sure does look like calvin?

Re: Pictures from Saturday\'s practice..

Oooooooo!!! Let me guess. Calvin Johnson in the grey sweat suit. Calvin again talking to Manley. Just an observer in the one you werent sure of. Brezina in the player you almost didnt recognize. Finally, Travis Chambers as the man learning in the jeans. He has been to several practices and is always trying to learn, not just hang out. I cant wait to get this guy a play book. I believe he will turn out like Reis. A solid structure dying to do anything he can for the White and Gold. You just watch. He will make us all very proud.

And we have a winner!!

Thank you so much

Living in Baltimore, I appreciate the pictures but one in particular made me laugh out loud.

When I left Tech in 1981, Rose Bowl Field had one old wooden set of bleachers sitting by the wall. You know about 4 planks high and about 15 feet long and I'm pretty sure it was warped pretty badly too.

Well for what, 8 years now on the internet, whenever someone writes about having to sit on the bleachers in the end zone for practice, my mind immediately sent me to the 1981 picture. Man, I thought it was really persecution to have to sit in the bleachers.

Well what a surprise to see that one picture of professionally built stands, etc. I was shocked.

And I might add they look great and pretty full too. I come down for games but now I may have to come for spring practice too.

Re: Thank you so much

Hey Midatlantech, those stands are not the ones at Rose Bowl Field. Those are of the track field across the wall which separates the track field from Rose Bowl Field. No, the bleachers are not real nice. They have improved from when you went to school though. There are two sets of about 15 feet wide that are metal. A tremendous improvement but more people walk around and watch than sit and watch.
