GT Band - Uprising by Muse

I could do without hearing the effing super hero themes at every single half time.

The version of Put On that the band plays will always in my mind be the soundtrack for the ACC Championship game. When it was being played during timeouts in the 4th quarter, when things were about to be decided, it was like the musical crescendo during the climax of an epic movie, when the hero is finally vanquishing the villain in the last battle. Love that song.

Agreed.... That would be cool... except for the "shake it". And, our drumline is MUCH better, so that could be fun. But do we really think out band can coordinate their dancing that well?

A: our drumline would kill it (in a good way)
B: our band dancing would kill it dead (unless the band kids are somehow more coordinated now than I remember them being)

Precisely... and I'm pretty sure the answer to B is NO! The only one who shows coordination consistently is the lead baton twirler.

I've noticed that we have the same halftime show all year now. Over and over again.

Back in the good ole days the band did a new routine/songs every week. It was smaller and didn't have flag girls and dancers, but still, you'd think they would change it up every once in while.

The worst part about "Put On" is when all of the students do that retarded ass Hitler move with their arm.

While we're at it, let's get rid of the "All the way turnt up" flashing on the big screen. They don't even play the music while showing the words which would make some sense at least. And how about playing some charity commercial last week during a late MD timeout right before a big GT defensive play instead of playing some kind of pump up music? Morons.

whoever was in charge of the PA system last game needs to be fired. some lame-ass "chill" pop radio song came on during a timeout and completely killed the atmosphere, then later they played "Zombie Nation" so quietly you could barely hear it.
