Chan picks Choice

wow. I was surprised when I saw today that the skins released him. I'm glad Chan picked him up. Hopefully, he'll thrive.
 
Is CJ Spiller still with the Bills? (I don't follow them) If so, I wonder how this affects his playing time. Is Spiller even playing right now, haven't seen anything...
 
I should've looked it up myself before asking but thanks. I'm glad he's playing somewhere but it seems like his days are numbered already? It almost seems like Gailey picked him as a safety net so he can maintain a chance at staying in the NFL. I thought he played well enough at Dallas to be the primary back...

The knock on him at Dallas was that he wasn't contributing in special teams whereas the other backup RBs were contributing in special teams.

Running back is a tough position to survive in as a pro-player.

Probably on his last leg in the NFL. When I saw him in Dallas this year he looked small and slow.
 
I was talking to a former player about a former TE (Heller I think it was) who was bouncing around the league and he said something about once you hit 6 years in, you get a $60k pension for the rest of your life, so this guy was just hoping to stay on a squad for that long. I can't recall the conversation exactly, as it was at a bowling alley with drinking, etc. but you get the gist. Now, that's not a ton of money, but you can damn sure live off of it, not to mention, get another job on top of it. That's a sweet deal.

He did. I remember Wes doing an interview with his mom before a game once and they were talking about him graduating at the end of the season

Choice graduated with a degree in History, Technology and Society in December 2007,[3] and earned All-Big 12 Academic Honor Roll in 2004 along with All-ACC Academic Honor Roll in 2005-2006.

Also didn't realize he was born in Thomasville. Same as Joe Burns
