Safe to bring a UGA fan to the ST tailgate?

I will not be at the ST tailgate but this sounds like the "Clemson fan in the Tech student section" scenario from a couple weeks ago.
 
Yeah, except anyone in their right mind could've told that girl that they were going to get booed out of Swarm. I'd imagine things will be more decent at the tailgate.
 
yeah i'm not feeling the hate in this thread.

can't really be hating if you're bringing them to hang out with us. unless it's all talk, then by all means...
 
Tailgating with a MUTT is one thing..."if" on the otherhand, you are giving him a ticket....that's another thing. Tech fans SHOULD NEVER, EVER accommodate a MUTT in our house! Never! :furious:
 
If your spouse is from uga, that's fine, but to give your extra ticket to a uga fan...

Anyway, come to the tailgate, we will give you much tougher time than we will give the uga friend.
 
My wife used to be a UGA fan.

I changed her for the better. Her father owns like 3 bulldogs. One recently died a few months ago. His name was "Bobo". I öööö you not.
 
Seems like a nice guy. Plenty of nice UGA fans like that. One of my family's lifelong friends went to UGA. He had season tickets for 40 years and stayed at our house for every home game and paid us to taxi him back and forth. One of the best guys I ever knew. He stopped paying for season tickets as he got a little older, but he is always the first person to give credit where credit is due to the Yellow Jackets.

Actually, its all family in Jacksonville, FL. Another guy that we are great friends with is the son of Jim Still, Georgia Tech's starting quarterback for the Orange bowl vs. Kansas many years ago. He is in the Air Force and only makes 1 or 2 games a year. Got to eat at the V with him before the VT game. Jim died about 10 years ago, but he is one of the lesser known legends of Georgia Tech. Also, the guy that caught the winning pass from Jim, was good friends with the extended family and was at a funeral of one of my great uncles. He is very old and in bad health right now.

This. I don't care if it's your best friend, your momma, your dear old granddad, whatever.

I buy extra tickets to the UGA game just to sell them at face value to Tech fans.

Without knowing either him or you, it is a safe bet he will be treated better on our campus than you would be on theirs. Pretty much a sure thing.

I know a GT fan who had an english bulldog he named Buzz.
 
1. Why would someone have a 'friend' who roots for uga if that friend also had a penis?

2. Where is the stingtalk tailgate? I have a bib for your baby. Mine have all outgrown it. Last I heard, it was either at theonlytechgirl's place or a gay bar (assuming those two locations are mutually exclusive).

Depends on who you are with. I was with my UGA friend on the track last year. I was the drunk bastard yelling THWG! At the cheerleaders. Hairy DAWG looked at me and I flipped him off. Students yelling for me to shut up. My friend was just laughing. They made me move down to the GT section, but didn't make me leave. I left anyways. Will never go back to that ööööhole, but actually had no problems at the game. Some games have been different. Maybe because they were 6-6.

I never seem to know either, even though I in theory maybe sorta came up with the idea. Last couple of times it's been over off the student center parking lot, in that grassed area in the shadow of that big ugly building the IEs and Mtrainers used to take their classes in. "IC?" I just walk around until I see cyptomcat and corndog, they stand out a little. Look for a tent with a short Turk with Eddie Vedder Hair harassing the cops and Parker Lewis +5 trying to fix the satellite TV antenna.
