Fvck that every frat house was full walking in and out of stadiumThanksgiving break + alot of out of state students who go to visit family.
Not that long ago when I was in school we filled that mf up... I will do more than bitch on a message board.. Watch the news for pipe bombs at frat houses next yearWe have a ööööty/small fan base. Its been that way for a long time and isn't going to change. You can bitch about it on a message board until you are blue in the face but it isnt going to help.
Cool story bro. Next time worry about the sea of red in our stadium before you rip into the students.Goes to the student section.. What the fvck is wrong with our frat assholes... I swear to god next game I'm running through frat row with pipe bombs getting those lazy fvcks out there
We are saying the same thing dfCool story bro. Next time worry about the sea of red in our stadium before you rip into the students.
Yeah, it was surprisingly bad. Completely empty sections for the entire game.Until the students fill their section on time, let it be first come, first serve day of the game. Embarassing to see so many empty seats in South endzone at kickoff.
Or that some UGA fans buy season tickets just for this game. The students have no excuseThe sea of red had nothing to do with students not showing up and EVERYTHING to do with GT people selling tickets to their neighbors/co-workers. So no, we aren't saying the same thing.
It's a bigger problem that we can't keep the UGA people out of our stadium for a game as big as this.
FACT:As a student who has attended every home game since being a student (3 seasons), I was a fan before I became a student. Most tech students are the opposite. We aren't UGAy where people go there because they have the best football team, literally the only reason they chose that school. Football isn't important to all the students mainly because others have different priorities such as research, grades/studying, etc,. This isn't an excuse, it's a reality.
I'm supposed to sit down there, but I don't. I really don't think they are great seats. I have a wristband to sit in a frat block, but I only use it to get in the north end zone. Student sections work for schools that have 30,000+ students and can afford to have a large fraction not show up. We have 13,000 undergrads, with sometimes more than half not showing up. Open the seating, I don't care, but stop complaining about the students.FACT:
Th frats reserve very large sections then decide its cooler to watch the game at the house... It's embarrassing
I have a wristband for the frat section, but I just sat in the normal student section this year. It depends on which frat you get stuck near. Alot of them are douche bags and they completely ruin the atmosphere. Personally I think the blocks thing should be removed. I also agree with first come first serve.FACT:
Th frats reserve very large sections then decide its cooler to watch the game at the house... It's embarrassing
Tired ass excuse. "I'm just such a dedicated student I can't be bothered."
