You're not supposed to be moving forward prior to the snap. Although I don't think I've ever seen it called on a kicker.

I in complete agreement. You cannot overturn that, there's absolutely no conclusive evidence in that review booth to say otherwise.

I think he caught the ball, but it did appear via replay the ground helped him trap it which was enough to overturn the ruling. Why didn't Beamer punt on 4th and 1 at midfield? Bud Foster's defense was playing good.

So, so glad Michigan got it done. I watched the game in a Virginia bar. I proudly wore my GT gear when they beat us on Thursday night... proudly wore my Michigan gear (have family alumni from there) when VT got beat last night. There is nothing like basking in victory in front of VT fans!
