Last week: 3-2 Overall: 17-19

Unfortunately I was right about the Dawgs. Couldn't have been more right about West Virginia destroying pathetic Rutgers 40-0, and of course Texas choked in the big game again. Boston College kept the game with VPI closer than I thought it would be with a late score, and Iowa State killed Texas Tech.

This week:

Wake +8 @ Clemson
Wake has been playing well, and Clemson, well, hasn't. This might be another upset win for the Deacs.

Iowa State +9.5 @ Oklahoma
This will be another close game that may be an upset. Wallace has a chance to lock down the heisman if they can pull out the win.

Texas +2.5 @ Kansas State
Texas always chokes in the big games, but I don't really think of this as a big game. They had their big game last week, and will come out and win this week. Far too much talent for Kansas State.

UVA -5 vs. North Carolina
The Cavs are on a roll, and get the 'Heels at home. It will be a close game for a while, but UVA plays well in the second half and wins by 10.

Notre Dame +3 @ Air Force
Notre Dame has far more talent than Air Force, and has been finding ways to win games all year. Since I hate Notre Dame, I'm hoping that the altitude and cold will affect their play and Air Force will be able to pull out the win, but, sadly, I don't think that the Irish will lose until they play FSU next week.

I agree with everything except Texas and Notre Dame. Texas will be reeling from the OK loss. Team chemistry goes to crap when you have a bunch of selfish premidona's that get there pretty white pants and shirts dirtied by a tougher gritier team....Hate to say this, but Texas isn't "man enough" to beat K-State in Manhattan

This is my pick of the year....Air Force will not only beat ND, they will completely dismantle them. AF wins this game by at least 3 touchdowns. AF is better coached and is faster and more determined. The altitude and the home crowd will be a factor. ND's lack of offense will finally catch up to them. This could be the game where things turn for the worse for ND for the rest of the season but there is no doubt in my mind that AF wins this one going away.
