10/24 Never Forget

Easily one of my top three favorite in-person sports memories. Other two being first ever college football game and COFH 2014.

Best GT moment since beating UGA and an all time great moment for Tech and college football!

Paul Johnson hates the "Miracle on Techwood Drive" phrase. It was no "miracle"; we blocked the kick and won the game.

Paul Johnson can eat shit and howl at the moon. It was The Miracle.

They looked great rounding the corner to goal line, 50 yards away. How did we not die from a heart attack that night!

Well if Mr. Austin had "listened" to CPJ waving "don't touch it, don't touch it" then there would have been no miracle so maybe the miracle was the whisper of the football gods in Austin's ear saying: "Mr. Austin, pick up that ball and run as if John Heisman himself were pointing the way - and do not stop until you have reached the promised land."

In CPJ's defense, he did try to stop Austin so his offense could beat them in OT. That's why he hates the word miracle. God interfering with his game plan, tsk tsk.

Gaudin kind of screwed the pooch on the call. Should have been the Miracle on Bobby Dodd Way

If Brandon had stayed a few more years, we'd have had:
The miracle ..
... in midtown
... off 10th St
... near the Varsity
... you know where that Mrs Winners Chicken used to be, right across the street
