Reported that he had excellent results at camp. I trust the coaches that see hem perform over an offer list. His recruiting has just taken off.

This guy may play CB but the tape shows a SAFETY-he is playing a LOT of center field-tackles well but VERY few are really difficult tackles-fighting through a blocker, etc
shows good straight speed

Another thing, the only way we're gonna compete with the factories on the field, the place that really matters, is to hit home runs on under the radar types. The very definition of such means few offers from factories.
Not the ONLY way, but certainly one way. We could also sign some very good, not great, athletes, and put them in a system that accentuates their gifts. We could play error free, hardnosed, inspired, well coached football. We could--we have--compete in that way.

Agree that he may end up at safety

Some highlights (from ESPN)…

Frame appears capable of adding bulk over time… solid tackler who attacks the line of scrimmage, takes down ball carrier w/o leaking yardage… good balance/agility. Could be a special teams contributor early, but not likely an early DB starter at the BCS level

Could also be a decent RB, with good balance, vision, and lateral agility.... although doesn't have great burst or second gear in the open field. Has been productive, with ability to slip tackles b/c of balance/lateral mobility and intelligence.

Smart, heady… can read, diagnose and react quickly vs run or pass; rarely fooled by play action/counter; patient. Apparently very tough/physical with good route recognition and range, as he pursues well off the ball and can beat blockers to limit big plays vs run or pass. Does lack ideal hip fluidity, as well as great burst and the second gear/deep speed downfield.
