11) Ron Dayne, rb, Wisconsin, 1999. Dayne had a big year, 1,834 yards and 19 touchdowns, but this was really a career achievement award for breaking the NCAA record for yards rushing. Third-place finisher Michael Vick led Virginia Tech to the national championship game and was truly the best player in the country.

I saw that POS article yesterday. Obviously an AP writer that did absolutely no research before writing his drivel. The AJC is toilet paper.
Lets Compare:
Michael Vick:
Completed 90 of 152 passes for 1,840 yards and 12 touchdowns ...
Averaged 5.4 yards per rush with 585 yards on 108 carries ...
Scored eight rushing TDs, the most for a Tech quarterback in a season since 1977

Joe Hamilton:
passing yards 3,060
Also shattered the Tech season records for touchdown passes with 29
734 yards rushing is the most in NCAA Division I-A history by a 3,000-yard passer - six Rushing TD's

Obviously, those two additional rushing TD's make all the difference.

Where can I go to get away from the crap that oozes out of the Atlanta Urinal Constipation? Not here apparently. I don't care that it's an AP article.

GOD. You forget how GOOD Joe really was. Those numbers are astounding.

It is an AP article. Not that they are much better.

Edit: Damn white on white... The interweb wins this time.
