They included players who offered support from the sidelines, on developmental team and also actually contributed in the game.

This is why I absolutely love coach Collins. He gave honors to two guys who didnt play as well as guys on the scout team for their contributions. Tell me how this wont keep those kids motivated and working rather than sulk about game reps? What a motivator!

Giving up only one sack is a tremendous accomplishment for us.

Saw great run blocking as well. There's room for improvement there too.

I figured you guys wouldn’t like participation trophies. Especially ones given to people who didn’t even participate.

Winning a game and putting together a top notch team takes everyone. I'm glad he's recognizing more than just the guys who got it done on the field. Those other things are important and contribute to success in the future.

Yates charting plays- does that mean he's 2nd or 3rd string?

Everything sounds good when you win; if we got our ass handed to us and He named the sideline cheerleaders of the game and weightlifters of the week everyone would lose this mind

IIRC CPJ did the same thing. Don't remember him naming them to the press though.

The point of him mentioning them was to say they contributed in ways other than playing. He didn't note them for just being there. Everybody cannot be in front of the cameras.
