A talented sophomore who handled Georgia Tech's kickoff duties all of 2007... uses a combination of booming and "sky" kickoffs... instrumental in helping Tech rank second nationally in kickoff return yardage defense -- a category in which the Jackets ranked 119th the previous season... a walk-on who will challenge for both kicking and punting duties in 2008.

Handled 68 of Tech's 70 kickoffs... helped the Yellow Jackets rank second nationally in kickoff return yardage defense... went the entire season without penalizing the team with an out-of-bounds kickoff... booted eight kicks into the end zone for touchbacks, but his specialty became the high, hanging, "sky" kicks... had two tackles on the season including one solo tackle... got an opportunity to score first career point when he kicked a PAT in a blowout of Samford (Sept. 8)... made a solo tackle on an Army kickoff return (Oct. 20).

Came to Georgia Tech after lettering four years in both football and soccer at Calhoun High School... helped lead football team to the region championships each year and to state runner-ups in 2005... received all-area honors in 2005 and 2006 and also received the AJC all-state and the all-state coaches choice in 2006... played in the GA vs. TN game and helped his team to a 14-13 win... won nationals in kick-offs at the kicking.com combine.
