Good thing they announced this before I bought tickets yesterday. Is there a reason they couldn't say that they were going to do student ticketing like a week ago?

Yes, I suck because I tried to support the program and buy early from the GTAA, and got screwed over. I am such an asshole.

Aren't they essentially the same tickets for the same cost? At least that was my experience with away student tickets.

Yes, but the GTAA website sold out of lower-level EZ tickets a few days ago. I'm pissed because I have no idea whether I actually have lower-level EZ's in the bag or not. I reserved them but haven't received any info since then and I'm going to be pissed if I get bumped to upper but could pick up lower EZ's tomorrow in person.

It's much more fun to sit with 1500 students than it is to sit with 1500 alumni. That's why they have student sections. Also the lower bowl thing. Also the principal of the matter.

They did something similar with the Georgia lotto. I swear I didn't hear anything about it other than rumors until the day before the lotto.

Apparently the student block in the lower EZ is right next to the band. That would've been nice. Stupid GTAA not announcing crap until the night before and screwing over the real fans who buy tickets ASAP. Bah.

816f, you're an asshole because you support your team so much. Any swarm member that doesn't know about you, me, and Rod obviously isn't a ridiculously crazy fan, because they didn't get to the Miami game 12 hours early like we did.

You want to talk about an asshole, talk about the Bio teacher who gave me a test at 6pm that night and refused to move it despite many e-mails from students imploring him to...in fact he made a point of e-mailing everyone in the class and saying that no one would be excused for game-related reasons.

As a note, there's always an away game student allotment and there's always a lotto for Georgia, Clemson and FSU away games. There's a note somewhere in ramblinwreck.com about this under student tickets.

I knew that but had been asking the ticket office for weeks when it was going to be and never got an answer.
