That's about what I was expecting. However, i think Tech will win by at least 20, probably 25. No matter the score, I hope we look in impressive before we play UVA(who barely beat Wyoming, yes Wyoming!! yesterday).law_bee said:We are 17.5 favorites and this is a BIG GAME. We need a strong performance to carry us into conference play.
I think you will see a strong dose of Calvin.
Exactly, a 3-1 record is essential to our hopes of an upset in Blacksburg. There is absolutely no reason for us not to beat Troy and UVA.gtfan1147 said:All that can be said here is that we BETTER beat Troy and Virginia. We HAVE to be 3-1 (1-0 ACC) heading to Blacksburg or this season will not turn out like we all had hoped.
I couldn't agree more. The Jacket said:I've been called in to attend the next two games after being held out of the last two with conflicts. My plan of attack is obnoxious wailing and violent thrashing.
Be loud on Saturday guys. Sometimes early games against lower-profile schools can be sort of sleepy - we need badly to avoid that. Let Troy feel like we believe we're coming in to do battle with the New England Patriots. It may give them some arrogance to begin with, but it can give us a W when it's said and done.
We don't need to blow them out, but we need to push them around. I think right now that we're sitting on the edge of the big boy pool for the ACC 2006 - and Troy is our second heave. We still have one more the following Thursday, but it is essential that no games but THIS game exist.
Go Jackets, give'em hell.
