Excited about having Mr. Alston on the Flats!

If I understand correctly, he's actually our 14th commit, once you include all the attrition of guys who have decommitted.

Certainly nice to pick up a DL recruit for this cycle. Hoping we get at least one more. Porcher IV would be our best shot, if I had to guess.

He got offered by Harvard. I'm impressed. I mean I know that doesn't say anything football-wise, but that's a great school.

His film looks really good. And he has some great offers. I think we got a great kid.

247 Crystal Ball Predictions

50% chance of Cal & 50% chance of ND

The crystal ball never comes up GT. Perhaps they should try a magic 8 ball?

With all their bullshit predictions, perhaps they should try russian roulette and quit pretending like they know more than anyone else.

Looks like he has the frame to put on some weight and move inside. I'm guessing he ends up at DT.

Need a few more solid DLs to finish out the class with - edge rusher and DTs are the biggest need (for the 8th class in a row)

All those predictions were from 7 months ago when ND looked like the likely destination. If you're going by 247 predictions that are more than a month or two old, it's your own fault.

If they don't put out a prediction for 7 months because they have no idea, they should change the prediction to "tossup" or some other synonym for "we have no idea." Making a prediction and leaving it up means in my mind that you are sticking by it. I just judge them by their latest prediction. If it gets stale, its on them to update it or remove it.
