I'm not the biggest croot tracker, but was this completely off the radar? To fans, I mean, obviously the coaches were working with him. Great pickup!

I start paying attention to recruiting like 2 weeks before signing day. There was a lot of talk about this kid on other sites, but he kept things pretty down low. Was between us and Virginia Tech.
 
I figure we are bringing him in as a QB and VT wasn't
 
Something good happened. Great decision, this kid could be a star in our offense

I thought recruitin' and signing day was a February holiday or something.
 
I think I watched his highlights the other day but don’t really remember seeing a lot of passing. Can he throw?

There are some throws in his highlights. He seems pretty accurate.
