1990 season recap video

To be fair @micman we proba can’t get back or pretty close. The games against FSU 2015, Miami 2014, GSU 2014, ring a bell.

2015 had a noticeable bump. Honestly just filling the south stand helps tv

It’s tough in the era of HDTV.

I have no idea if Missouri had a timeout. But, if they did they should have used it to remind the refs of the down situation. Even after the fourth down clocking the ball you could have demanded the refs attention. Colorado cheated. The refs were incompetent. The Mizzou coaches blew it.

And post game, Colorado's HC knew they had gotten away with one and kind of poo poo'ed it off with "part of the game"

Colorado had a ded QB who had dated the HC's daughter. The AP and refs, and everyone were determined to give them a natty....
Buddy of mine, just before he was about to make a conquest of new trim, would call up another friend, say "Aunese" and hang up. That was their code word.

Just think - Colorado had a LOSS and a TIE. Plus, a phantom clipping call that saved them in the Orange Bowl. They shoulda lost just for being dumb enough to kick to Rocket Ismail anyway.
And dipshit sports writers still voted their asses No. 1.
WTF.

By ONE ööööing vote, IIRC. If ONE sportswriter changes his mind, we are not sharing the title.

The AP Poll wasn't by one vote. The coaches poll was. Tom Osborne ended up casting the deciding vote because Nebraska was the only school that played both Colorado and us that year and cast the deciding vote in our favor because he viewed us as the better team.

Illinois beat Colorado
Clemson beat Illinois (30-0)
GT beat Clemson.

Nuff said.

How do we know his was the deciding vote and not someone else's? We needed all of the votes we had to get the split, right?

"The UPI electorate included Tom Osborne of Nebraska, the sole team that lost to both.

"I don't know that for a fact," McCartney says, "but I would wager on it" that Osborne sided with Tech over his Big Eight cohort.

The bet would be a winner. The UPI's Shain confirmed McCartney's assumption. (Osborne declined comment for this article.)"
