Dynamite ACC package on TV the weekend of 9/3/05. IMO, this is why Clemson should play Tex A&M & GT should play Auburn & Bos Coll should play BYU.
Very nice article from the AJC:

Big TV weekend for ACC

The first weekend of ACC football will feature six regionally or nationally televised games:

Date Game Time TV

Sept. 3 Georgia Tech at Auburn TBA1 ESPN (night game)

Sept. 3 Texas A&M at Clemson 8 p.m.2 ABC

Sept. 3 Duke at East Carolina 1 p.m. CSS

Sept. 3 Boston College at BYU 3:30 p.m.3 ABC

Sept. 4 Virginia Tech at N.C. State 7:15 p.m. ESPN

Sept. 5 Miami at Florida State 8 p.m. ABC

1 — Will be at night 2 — Split national telecast 3 — Regional telecast

THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

The ACC will take part in five Thursday night TV games this fall:

Date Game

Oct. 6 N.C. State at Georgia Tech

Oct. 13 Clemson at N.C. State

Oct. 20 Virginia Tech at Maryland

Oct. 27 Boston College at Va. Tech

Nov. 17 Miami at Wake Forest

Yet another reason why Boston College should not have been admitted to the ACC.

GT at Auburn goes head to head with the Texas A&M at Clemson game at 8 p.m., while BC at BYU gets the 3:30 pm slot alone. This game has no business being shown in the South and will not be watched by many. The GT or Clemson game would have gotten the 3:30 pm start time, and we could have watched both games.

Like most here, I'll probably watch the SEC game on CBS at 3:30 p.m. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/drinking.gif
