Probably the greatest defensive performance in the past 20 years.
 
When that game started I told my roommates that I’d punch myself in the balls if we won.

I am a man of my word.
 
Hard to describe how stunned I felt watching us actually pull that off. Very few football teams have ever entertained me as much as the Tech defenses during that era. I would like very much to see defensive ferocity like that here again some day.

I am gonna try to catch this broadcast if I can. I haven't seen it since that year.
 
Love that game, hate how we blew it against UGA the next week after dominating the game to give up a big PR. Reggie threw a pick. 10 year old me cried
 
I’d been traveling to all our road games for years at this point, and had tix to this game. It got postponed due to a hurricane, and the rescheduled date was the same night as a U2 show that I had tickets to.

I went to the U2 show, and it was fantastic, but it figures that one of a handful of games I’ve missed in 20+ years is one of our biggest wins ever. I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen the game, but I was getting texts as we were closing out the game and U2 was playing “Bad” in their encore.

I went to that show The Pixies were the opening act. A great night for Tech and Bono.
 
I remember that game for the defense, of course, but also for Calvin Johnson's helicopter catch of a poorly thrown ball.

He caught like a 5-yard out against Miami that was probably thrown a foot off the ground and 3 feet behind him. It was a crazy good catch for a fairly inconsequential gain. He also caught a diving deep ball “Superman catch” in the same game.

Against NC State he made the one handed catch on the crosser, pass was way behind him and he did a rediculous Spider-Man move. Also a modest gain on something other-worldly.
