2009 ACC QBs

This looks like the first year in a while the ACC will have a slew of decent quarterbacks.

Looking around the league...

GT - Nesbitt
Duke - Lewis
Clemson - Korn
Miami - Marve
FSU - Ponder
WFU - Skinner
UNC - Yates
VT - Taylor
Maryland - Turner
UVA - Verica
NCSU - Wilson
BC - ?

Can you say stacked? With the exception of Crane at BC there are no Senior QBs in the ACC this year.

Not true. A lot of the QBs have just been busts: Vick, Weatherford, Wright, etc.

uhhh, wouldnt that infer that the recruiting was poor? bad evaluation on the kids? anyway, back to real life and not Kyle's world fantasy rightness

While I am always for arguing against Kyle, I think that this points more at coaching than recruiting.

The guys he mentioned(except for Weatherford...i guess he went straight to FSU?) were heavily recruited by everyone from Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Miami, USC, etc etc.

ok, vick was a bust b/c he is a thug so if you recruited him then you got what you deserved despite the athletic ability

the only other guy that he mentioned was Wright at Miami, who could perhaps do well if they had a decent QB/OC at the school. you should take into consideration the coaching you have in place when you decide what kind of kid to sign... anyway, not worth a lengthy discussion IMO
