Welcome to Week 11 of the BTC (Butthurt Trading Contest) Market. If you don't know what this is, check out the rules thread here:

https://www.stingtalk.com/board/threads/coits-butthurt-trading-contest.89117/

Opponent: VT
Point Spread: VT -14000000000000

The Opening Price for Butthurt this week is $285. This comes from the Week 10 closing price of $150, adjusted upward by 50% due to the loss, a 20% upward Butthurt adjustment made due to GT not beating the point spread, and a 20% upward adjustment from the Butthurt bank. The Butthurt bank is at 0%.

So, at this point those who voted below average in the preseason polls and started all butthurt are in the lead. There's little chance of anyone else winning at this point unless some well timed trades can be made.

Post your trade in the thread, with the other party to confirm the trade by replying. All trades will be tracked in the log below.

So the point of your game is answer all the polls with .1 chance and you win the butthurt trading contest.

Yeah I'm looking at the people over $300k portfolios, they didn't even participate in any trading. Next year don't award anyone butthurt to start with, just let people buy in if they want to participate.

Yeah this season is a working that way. If the price finishes below $100 a share, they will not win. But if the price ends above that, the only way it would've been possible to beat them would be to buy in below $100 and hang on. At this point, there isn't much of a chance of it finishing below $100 a share. We would have to win every game and beat the spread, and folks would have to lower the price during trading.

Well for the winner of this year's contest you can throw out the people who didn't participate at all. If you haven't made at least one trade or a bid or offer then you don't qualify to be ranked.

Well if you have a negative outlook like they did, there would be no need to trade. We will have to rethink the rules for future years I guess.

I held my position out of interest whether or not it would prove a better strategy than undertaking any trading. Are you saying that was correct?

If you are 100% in butthurt I'd say yes.
