yeah, time to pass time looking at other seasons...

some very interesting games next year, and an easier schedule:

Sept. 3 vs. Boston College (Dublin, Ireland)
Sept. 10 Mercer
Sept. 17 Vanderbilt
Nov. 19 Georgia Southern
Nov. 26 at Georgia

on top of ACC Coastal and Clemson at home

We've been looking ahead to Ireland this whole time!

Scheduling GSU is really dumb from a competition standpoint--little reward, high risk.

Is it too early to do prediction polls for next season?

A schedule with mercer & gsu in the same year.

What a gutless crock of öööö.

Pretty sure it's still a harder ooc schedule than 75 percent of the power five. Lots of teams play nothing but Mercers and GSUs, or one P5 and three cupcakes.

Until we actually win the games we are suppose to what is the point of scheduling harder teams?

It's a good schedule. I like it. Planning to make Ireland, Tally, Pitt, Athens, and possibly Blacksburg on the road next year.

Got some catching up to do. This will be the first season since 2001 I won't make a single road game if we do not make a bowl :bigcry::

Georgia Southern is a great game for our FBS non-big 5 slot. Sure we could lose, we've lost to MTSU, Fresno St, and Air Force in recent memory. Gives their fans an opportunity to see a real college football program and they fill the upper north. Anybody worrying about GT being "threatened" by a loss to Georgia Southern has got a serious inferiority complex.
