Season is almost here. Let’s start with some outlandish predictions:

Tyrod Taylor will start every game for Browns and be a top 5 fantasy option.

That is bold. Bold but wrong.

Leonard Fournette averages just 3.5 ypc and will not finish in top 15 RBs.

Auction league with 2 keepers (to keep players, add $10 to winning bid from prior season) - should I keep:
    OBJ for $51
    Larry Fitz for $25
    Juju Smith-Schuster for $10

Already keeping Leveon Bell for $58...leaning toward Juju

How does that work? Is there a salary cap?

Yup, team budget is $200. So if I keep OBJ then I've used up more than half of my budget

Seems like optimal strategy would be to pay no more for a player than they are likely to contribute in points for your team, right? Seems like any player over $40 would be venturing into the overpriced range.

After you fill with starters, do you end up filling the bench with a bunch of guys that cost a penny or something?

Yeah, what usually happens is most managers overpay a bit for the better players (I've seen some go into the $70s) and then in the middle/late part of the draft most of the players are going for $10 or below. I definitely subscribe to the overpay early then look for values later method.

Last year I went Bell $48, OBJ $41 and Devonte Freeman $41....ended up winning the league despite OBJ injury.

OBJ and Bell prices are steals. Quality league would have bid them higher.

JuJu at $20 is maybe too high. Hard to say. He likely is a $15-$20 WR. Locks in a quality #2 WR, so could go either way on that.

JuJu is $10 (picked him up off of the waiver last year). OBJ at $51 is tough after losing him most of the year to injury

Juju at $10 is a good price. OBJ at $51 is a good price too in my opinion. Depends on the league and what people normally pay. Healthy OBJ is a top 3 WR...should be mid-to-high 50s for that value. Also, it's a contract year for OBJ if they don't work something out before the season. NYG should have a running game as well, taking some attention off of OBJ. You could not "keep" him then attempt to redraft if you think you can get for below $51...again, depends on the league. In my league, all of the top players go over projected value then there are deals later in the draft if you save some money.
