Will remain nameless but my daughter goes to school with a 2018 recruit who is sporting a UGA jacket.

I am assuming he lost a bet?

Daughter or player?

Commit or recruit? If he is just a recruit, he has reached a crossroad in his life. He can continue on to UGAg and when he reaches my age realize he left hundreds of thousands of dollars in earnings on the table as he hits the earning ceiling. Or he can go to GT where we have had a few players leave the team for lucrative jobs and not finished their 4 years of football. Sure, there is the NFL dream, but I counted last night and there were 3 starters from GT playing for the Broncos and the Patriots

I will have her show him this. Pretty sure he is going to be a good one for us

And it was a commit
Commit to your education and life. The time you spend in college is minor compared to the rest of your life. If I were good enough to ever have been a big time college football recruit. GT would be on the list. Stanford would be on the list. Michigan, Vandy, Duke, even Miami - no matter what anyone thinks about them personally - is a better school than UGA. UGA is nothing but a big state U churning out diplomas that are mostly useless.

Why are you talking to your daughter about what her male classmates are wearing.

I saw a guy at the gym Sunday wearing a UGA Georgia vs. Auburn "Tiger Stew" game shirt. Which is weird because I live in Northeast. I said "Georgia...nice game last night". He said "I'm not a Georgia fan, I just have the shirt". :dunno:

I think he was too ashamed to admit he was a Georgia fan. But then why would he wear the shirt?
