GT at 32.
up from 34 in 2020,45 in 2019 and 50 in 2018. Still moving up.
I expect a bigger boost next year as this year's recruiting class is really good.
5th in ACC.
NIU weighs in at 114

7-5 if we beat all the less talented teams.

One of the best measures of CFB talent is NFL players drafted. If you get a recruit wrong in college, it costs you a scholarship. But in the NFL is you miss with a draft pick and it costs you millions. Sadly, Tech is VERY far down the list of teams with players drafted in the last 5 years. 4 total draft picks, 1 better than Georgia Southern. Based in the capital of one of the hottest recruiting areas in the country this is hard to understand, but it's time for Collins to turn it around. https://collegefootballnews.com/202...lege-last-5-years-2021-cfn-program-analysis/2

Is it really hard to understand? Option linemen aren’t exactly in high demand in the nfl. Mason was dinged for his lack of size. Abacks have no fit in the nfl. Option qbs are not wanted. That cuts out 8 of your 22 starters. Even a hand on ground back is barely used in the nfl.

We did pretty well on WRs drafted.

CGC will pull in more nfl style talent for sure. He’s shown that.

Kind of hard to use that metric to measure current teams. Which is what this one is trying to do.

I agree that it's a good measure, but it does occur after the cfb career is done.
Forecasts from a composite aren't so precise but the talent composite does generally forecast where the teams will finish at end of season.
Not hard to notice that Bama,Clemson,Okla,Ohio ST are usually in the top10 and play more in CFP than others.
Both reveal who squanders talent(Texas#1,Michigan.USCw,miami and dawgs)
The annual class recruit rankings are good for forecasting how many of a 20-25 class will get drafted or signed.
CGC's 2020 class ranked highest for us since 2007 so in 2-3 yrs we'll see the results in the draft.
This years (22) class could be even better.
