Since 2020 "didn't count," and S/As continued to take classes and progress toward their degrees, some will play, some will stay, and some will leave for greener pastures via the portal, graduate, get jobs, etc.
The coaching staff is reportedly intentionally going to sign smaller FR classes to allow for Portal In-bounds. About two-three years from now it will have cleared itself. Guess that's why we have GM Patrick Suddes.

I think everyone gets some allowance above the normal 85 scholarships because of Covid. It might be team-by-team counting each player that got a free year.

Man, I can handle being a fan of ours as an adult but I don't know if I could if I was 10. I took things harder at that age.
