Predicting VT comes out on top of a devil’s 3-way with UVa and Miami. Miami fades late going 1-3 to close the season. GT improves, but continues to struggle against the stronger ACC division.

Wake continues its dominance of the Atlantic with back to back division titles. Clemson cannot over come two losses in cross division games as well as an inexplicable drumming at home to last place Louisville.

I fully expect NCState to return to their usual position looking up at 0.500 in conference. It is the proper place for a program with clearly the worst coach in the conference.

NC State/Wake game will be big for deciding the ACC Champion

I don’t know, Clemson will do ok. But their QB is an interception machine, which will cost them a few wins. I would expect the division to end something like this:

Wake
Clemson/BC (pick one)
FSU
NCSt
Cuse
Louisville

Yeah, you’re right about NC St. There’s so much crap on that side of the conference though. I’m gonna lay a few hundred on Wake.

Wake has the only functional offense in the Atlantic. Defense may win championships, but you need an offense to make it through the season. That division was stocked full of NFL starting QBs for years, but the cupboard is bare.

The Coastal is a toss up. No clue who's ending up on top there.

The Wake/BC/FSU triumvirate will decide the Atlantic. (I'm sorry, I see Clemson a step below those three.)

Don’t sell Clemson’s front seven on defense short. Not sure their new DC can make much out of the cover guys. Offensively, they have pieces, but pieces of what?

I don't really think that you can take the fact that Clemson has won more games each of the last 11 years than we have in the last three years combined as evidence that they will be better than us or the rest of that trash division they play in. I think 2nd or 3rd in their division will be the ceiling this year. The cracks started showing last year when they only won 10 and the dam will burst this year.

VT might be in as bad a situation as Duke. They have a new HC with like 50% of their players transferring out after last year. And the previous staff severely under-recruited. I would be shocked if they won the Coastal.

For VT, it will be addition by subtraction. Miami will start hot, until the weather cools. Miami, VT, and UVa in a three way. UVa finds a way to come out on bottom as usual.

Is the Wake QB still out? Might wanna check on his status (forget his name) before placing bets. Without him, I'm not sure Wake rolls like they did last season.

It’s about coaching. Get the right staff and you don’t see a big drop off in qb production even after losing top shelf guys.

I’ve heard their backup QB is actually better than the first stringer.

Neither of those even in contention for the ACCCG by early Nov.
The Coastal is really weak this year … too bad we’re down. Pitt just might repeat but I think Miami has the talent to have a good team. I think Clemson has the talent returning to be a top 10 team, depends on how well their QB & WR’s play. They look loaded at the other positions, especially on D.
