Many years the ACC gets crapped on all season for out of conference performance. We need our conference mates to do well OOC because it helps us all for rankings, game times, crowds, etc.

weak 1 ACC has mostly taken care of business.
8-2 with FSU v. LSU go to.

BC lost to Northern Illinois - bad loss
UVa lost to Tennessee - expected loss (and I had forgotten about the tragedy last year)

We need FSU to take care of business tonight.

I certainly understand what you are saying and agree in general with it, but I simply cannot bring myself to pull for FSU tonight, no matter how much I hate LSU and the entire SEC.

Pull for acc teams to beat FSU. But we need our teams to take care of business against OOC opponents. Think of them like brothers. We fight amongst ourselves but have their backs against everyone else.

I'm sure FSU would return the favor....right?

Yes. I think what’s going on with this is purely monetary. Quite frankly, we should all me railing against the contract we are handcuffed to espn with and trying to find ways to increase the pot for our conference.

Pot per school, not per conference. The ACC & B12 clearly thinks the next shakeout is going to be about 64 schools. So both are picking up the best of the rest. I don’t think the B1G want that many at the table. Probably smart to spread your conference over as many states as possible because politicians are going to get involved.

We can have it both ways. Let FSU, Clemson, UNC beat the snot of out the SEC and other OOC teams, but then lose conference games like say, to Duke. This is the way the ACC wins. I hope FSU, Clem, and UNC lose 4 conference games each but beat the crap out of whoever else they play.
