2024 Home Attendance

Helped considerably by a lot of Miami fans in a five game home slate. That was our highest attended home game (47,500) since 2018.

Next year's attendance is likely to be rough given the weak overall home schedule and the fact that the U[sic]GA game won't be at home. I anticipate a dip, although I certainly hope I'm wrong.

One positive with no asterisk is the student section, which has both shown in up in great numbers and been loud.

Clemson should offset Miami. The other games are no worse than VMI Duke NCSU Ga State; though the panthers brought a local bump.

223-227 best view/seats in BDS

Toasty for September afternoons tho

When they reconstructed the entire lower East during the 2002 expansion, they left the upper east intact because they were so beloved and right on top of the field. You'd never know that today.

Widen the “seats” with the new fixed seating. Keep raising admission in state. Add benefits of attending the game for students kickoff through the end by check-ins on a student app. Make sure wifi is available and badass. Get a better PA system and someone that knows how to use it. Funding for the band to be larger even if only for home games (400-450).

While they are still late, student attendance has been fantastic this season. I'd like to know what changed -- is it really just the modicum of success we've achieved, or was there a targeted effort to get them to come out?

This is gonna be selfish but….

Attendance on Thursday was perfect. I was out of the parking deck in 1 minute. Barely hit the brakes. I’ve been stuck in a deck for hours before after a game. Let’s keep attendance where it is!

Just buy all the tickets and then do nothing with them, money bags.

My thoughts as well. I had to look up who tf Chad bishop is. I thought he’s a uga writer. Sigh. It literally is UAThWg
Chad came to the AJC from covering Vanderbilt - for Vanderbilt.
Before that, he worked in Bowling Green, covering Western Kentucky.
Before that, he worked in Statesboro.

Granted, it was a lousy home slate - though Miami, for once, brought a lot of fans. Ga State ... eh. I mean, they got outnumbered by Vandy folks in their own yard. Vandy.
Miami fans are the biggest front runners in any sport, pro or college.
