I keep hearing that we left 3O because we wanted to become a more balanced offense. Does anymore really think that Sims and Yates are much better passers than Nesbit, Thomas or Washington

Yeah we need a quarterback bad. We don’t have one right now.

Better than Thomas and probably Washington, yes. Probably not as good as Nesbitt or Lee. Definitely better than Marshall or Oliver.

*Thomas was a good option QB, he would not look so good in a traditional offense.

Thomas, yes. Washington and Nesbit, no.

No they arent Unfortunately, recruiting stars dont mean jack shi* on the field when it comes down to production

I'd take JFN or JT all day long over any QB that's on the current roster, I'd also say it's not fair to Jordan to be thrown in sparingly and be expected to produce as a starter

He has played like 40 percent of the season, not exactly sparingly. He is the backup.

Some of y’all have a very different memory of Justin Thomas than I do. I’m not going to pull and post all the stats on my phone right now, but suffice it to say his numbers are better than Sims, Nesbitt or Washington, and with the exception of 2014, he didn’t have nearly the receivers that either of the others have had.

I think we would be a better team with JT at the helm right now. He had Sims’ playmaking ability without the turnovers and stupid mistakes, and I’d argue he was more accurate with even less time than Sims has. I think he could have been a very good college QB in a shotgun spread.

Thomas’ mechanics were not good. When they tried to fix them in 2015, he played worse. I think they gave up and let him throw naturally in 2016. Similar story to Tebow.

Yeah, Justin Thomas’ career numbers are on par with George Godsey. He was a good QB, who could have played in Patenaude’s offense.
